Two men have been sentenced to 18 and 33 years in jail after they were convicted of helping Al-shabaab attack the Westgate mall in 2013.
At least 67 people died in the assault by al-Shabab on the Westgate shopping complex in the capital, Nairobi.
The Kenyan state said that the four terrosists who carried out the attack were all found dead in the shopping mall’s rubble.
The terrorists occupied the mall for four days, in one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in Kenya.
These four are the only convictions relating to the Westgate attack.
A third man who was found not guilty on all counts of conspiracy to commit a terrorist act went missing the day after the verdict was announced and has not been seen since.
