CK-BTI CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Centre for Bioethics and Culture (CBEC) and the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), have been awarded a Fogarty International Centre (FIC) - National Institutes of Health USA (NIH) grant to initiate the CBEC-KEMRI Bioethics Training Initiative (CK-BTI).
Attached please find a call for applications of interest for a Certificate Training Course in Clinical ethics Scheduled for September 24th -29th 2018;
  1. Clinical Ethics Certificate Course
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS REQUIRED INCLUDE
  • An updated CV
  • A one page Letter of Intent, describing why you are interested in the course, and what practical benefit might emerge to you and to your institution as a result of availing this opportunity.
  • Two letters of reference with one from a line supervisor and this should indicate that the institution will facilitate the time needed for training.
Please note that preference will be given to candidates actively involved in healthcare provision including Medical Doctors, Clinical Officers, Nurses, Hospital Ethics committee
members and those for whom the training will have particular relevance because of their involvement in healthcare facilities. 

All applications will be reviewed by a Selection Panel whose decisions, based on the strength of the applications, shall be final.

Partial scholarships are available for successful applicants. No fees are charged for training
